Build the software layer that runs on top of the infrastructure. FreightGuard.ai is McCoy's AI load-inspection and chain-of-custody product—deployed inside our facilities first, then licensed to other operators, hospitals, and freight customers. You'll build it from an early stage with real operational data and real users.
Key Responsibilities
- •Build and ship features for the FreightGuard.ai chain-of-custody platform
- •Develop services that capture, verify, and track loads end to end
- •Integrate with gate, scale, manifest, and billing systems on-site
- •Work with operational and sensor data from a live facility
- •Design clean APIs for internal use and external licensing
- •Own features end to end—from spec to production to support
- •Collaborate closely with operations and automation engineering
Required Qualifications
- •4+ years building production software (full-stack or backend)
- •Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node, Python, or Go
- •Experience with APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
- •Pragmatic, product-minded, comfortable in an early-stage codebase
- •Able to translate messy real-world operations into reliable software
Preferred Qualifications
- •Experience with computer vision, ML, or sensor data
- •Background in logistics, supply chain, or IoT/industrial software
- •Experience building products that were later sold to external customers
- •Familiarity with chain-of-custody or compliance workflows
